'emergence' in a literal sense explains a female face emerging from water. As an artist exploring and challenging my skills, it represents a confidence in my style and my use of materials. I want to create drawings that are not just a visual reproduction but have a sense of the creators hand, a sense of craftsmanship. After many other works that have seen me explore my style, this drawing demonstrate a representation of where and what I wanted to achieve.
